A two-day strike by outpatient specialists and GPs planned for next week has been called off after negotiations with the Ministry of Health and health insurance companies. The protest was to have been held in protest against low reimbursements for health care in 2025 and an agreement on their increase was reached with the country's four largest insurers on Friday. Health Minister Vlastimil Válek said the agreements were being finalized and would be signed next week. He said he would convince three other insurers to join the agreement as well. The four largest insurers represent 88 percent of clients.
