During the Heart Improvement Plan street construction on Fourth Street in Loveland, the Loveland Downtown District is holding a "Shop & Win" promotion.
In partnership with the city of Loveland's Economic Development Department, the organization will give away a $100 Downtown Loveland gift card every week, according to a news release.
Anyone who spends money in the Downtown District during construction, is eligible to enter the giveaway.
After spending money in the Downtown District, attach your proof of purchase (digital receipt, screenshot or picture of receipt) to a Google Form that can be found on the Loveland Downtown District website.
All transactions are eligible, acceptable entries include but are not limited to: a receipt from a retail establishment, restaurant, bar, brewery, etc., or a receipt from a service based business (salon, tattoo, massage, fitness studio, etc.).
During the Fourth Street construction, pedestrian access will remain open.
The street improvement project has started with the block of Fourth Street between Washington and Lincoln avenues.
Fourth Street is temporarily closed, and is surrounded by pedestrian fencing, but sidewalks and street crossings in both the north-south and east-west directions are accessible to the public, according to the downtown group.
Wayfinding signage is shown on the fencing to guide the public safely around the construction zone.
In the first phase, underground utilities will be replaced. A second phase will focus on street-level improvements like sidewalks, lighting, patios and planting.
