You are using an out of date browser. It may not display this or other websites correctly.
You should upgrade or use an alternative browser. With macOS 15.1 Apple introduced the option to install Apple App Store apps larger than 1GB directly on external drives.
Feature works well generally, but unfortunately CapCom's Resident Evil Village is not working from the external drive.
This apps starts correctly with several start screens. Afterwards it asks to "update the purchase history", but unsuccessfully. Error message "Purchase history couldn't be updated, please check network connection...". Afterwards there is only an option to close the game. Same issue with Resident Evil 4. No issues with Death Stranding, its running like expected from external drive.
When I move the Resident Evil app from the external drive to the application folder on the internal drive it runs like expected.
CapCoom support doesn't responded (yet?).
