PITTSFIELD, Mass. (NEWS10) -- Pittsfield High School will be closed on Wednesday, October 15 and Thursday, October 17 because of the cold temperatures inside the building. The district said a new boiler is being installed.
A temporary boiler was set up outside the school, but the state inspector is not available to check the temporary one until Thursday.
A decision on whether classes can be held on Friday will be made on Thursday once the inspection is finished.
