Elaborately Decorated 'Fright House' in Lafayette Now Open

Our buddy and former UL Ragin' Cajuns baseball great Phil Devey is back at it again. He's transformed his Lafayette, Louisiana home into one of the best "fright houses" in Acadiana.

For several years, Devey and his family have transformed their Lafayette home's exterior into an elaborately decorated Halloween display that families love visiting.

It has grown so large over the years that the Devey family has named it "Fright House on Lefleur."

In the past, Phil's creations have included 12-foot skeletons, 3-headed dogs, motorcycle-riding witches, walk-through cemeteries, lasers, lights, music, and projection shows.

While "Fright House on Lefleur " is free to view, Phil has used the opportunity to raise money for worthy non-profit organizations.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Acadiana is a non-profit organization whose mission is "to empower all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens."

Viewers who go by the house are asked to scan the QR code located on the property to make their donations.

Or, here is the direct link to the Venmo page if you'd simply like to donate right now.

This year's "Fright House on Lefleur" is up and running now through Halloween night, October 31st. It is located at 116 Lefleur Circle in Lafayette, Louisiana.
