KIP Protocol, the Web3 base layer for AI, announced a strategic investment in HackQuest, a leading developer education platform in the Web3 space with a vibrant community of over 50,000 developers.
This investment will strengthen KIP Protocol's capabilities in decentralized AI (DeAI) evangelisation and education, while also empowering HackQuest with a powerful suite of DeAI tools to onboard burgeoning DeAI developers.
HackQuest hosts more than 50 hackathons annually and provides free, expert-led courses that empower developers across the globe. Its learning platform offers certifications co-issued by prominent blockchain ecosystems such as Arbitrum, Solana and Mantle Network. It also boasts extremely strong local presence in India, U.S., China, Nigeria, Argentina, and Vietnam.
In the past year alone, more than 100 projects went through the HackQuest founders program, with participants raising over $100 million in funding. HackQuest has proven itself as a launchpad for innovative ideas in Web3.
KIP Protocol also supported the Ideating & Building in Web3 MOOC launched by HackQuest and Nanyang Technological University and co-hosted one of the largest developer event series, the Web3 Dev Huddle, with HackQuest.
Empowering the Next Generation of DeAI Developers
KIP Protocol's partnership with HackQuest is a perfect strategic fit with its mission to advance DeAI. Harnessing HackQuest's experience, community and expertise in key global markets around the world, KIP will be able to roll out DeAI hackathons with high frequency and efficiency.
HackQuest will also gain access to KIP's full suite of Web3 tooling for DeAI developers. This full tool suite has already been integrated and used by large organisations since late 2022, but will now be accessible to solo developers as well. In particular, KIP Protocol's Decentralized Retrieval-Augmented Generation (D/RAG) technology and advanced Web3 infrastructure will empower HackQuest developers to easily deploy, monetize, and own their AI-powered applications.
KIP-developed educational materials on DeAI will also be distributed by HackQuest.
As HackQuest expands its focus to DeAI, KIP Protocol is bringing its robust technical infrastructure and hands-on experience to support developers in the transition.
A Shared Vision for Web3 AI Development
This strategic investment reflects a shared vision between KIP Protocol and HackQuest: to provide developers with the tools and resources they need to scale decentralized AI solutions.
Julian Peh, Co-Founder and CEO of KIP Protocol, commented: "HackQuest is one of the fastest growing developer education platforms, and our investment reflects our confidence in their ability to aid KIP in pushing awareness and access to DeAI tools to everyone.
In the age of AI, a simple prompt is effectively an AI app, and everyone can be an app creator-owner with the right tools and community. The KIP-HackQuest partnership aims to provide everyone with both "
Kevin L, Founder/CEO of HackQuest, added: "We are delighted to work with KIP to co-develop AI developer education content, and using AI to make developer education more accessible for all.HackQuest will partner with KIP in AI developer education, co-design university AI curriculum, and launch developer initiatives around the globe."
