TOWNSEND -- Recognizing one school administrator as "the glue who holds everything together," the North Middlesex Regional School District proudly announced that Executive Assistant Robin Eibye has been named Executive Assistant of the Year by the Massachusetts Council of School Committee Administrative Personnel (COSCAP).
Her award was announced during COSCAP's annual conference on Friday, Nov. 8, in Hyannis. The award recognizes those who exemplify excellent leadership, commitment to staff and students, service to their communities, and contributions to the overall school experience.
"Our School Committee, not unlike most School Committees, is comprised of a diverse group of individuals," wrote School Committee Chair Lisa Martin, who nominated Eibye with Superintendent Brad Morgan and Assistant Superintendent Gary Burboa-Reese. "Ms. Eibye recognizes the strengths that each person brings to this role and meets each person where they are at and ensures that each person has the tools and resources to be productive members of the School Committee."
As Executive Assistant, Eibye supports both the district administration and School Committee, manages community engagement, and uses social media channels to share information and positive news about North Middlesex students.
"In a school system everyone knows that person who is the glue who holds everything together," said Assistant Superintendent Burboa-Reese, who spoke at the ceremony. "She works incredibly hard to make sure everyone in our community feels respected."
Eibye joined the district in 2018, bringing significant experience in marketing, communications, project management, and customer service to the role.
"This award is incredibly humbling because there are so many other executive assistants who do amazing work for their school districts," Eibye said. "I am deeply grateful for this honor. I greatly value my colleagues and our School Committee members for what they do for our students and thank them for their support."
