When Auburn men's basketball tipped off against Houston Saturday night, it did so without two of its players.
Jahki Howard and Ja'Heim Hudson did not travel with the team after the two were reportedly involved in an altercation shortly after Auburn's flight to Houston had departed, causing the plane to be diverted back to the airport.
The two did not rejoin the team when it left again for Houston Friday night.
Before the game against Houston, Bruce Pearl was asked about the situation on Auburn's pregame radio show.
"It's an unfortunate situation. We're dealing with it head on, but I'm not going to comment on it any further tonight," Pearl said.
Auburn and Houston's matchup is streaming on ESPNU from the Toyota Center in Houston.
