Epicor, which is backed by CVC and Clayton, Dubilier & Rice, has acquired Acadia Software, a Maryland-based connected worker platform. No financial terms were disclosed.
Austin-based Epicor is a provider of enterprise software.
"Frontline workers need the digital tools and knowledge necessary to perform their roles efficiently and safely," said Epicor CEO Steve Murphy in a statement. "The acquisition of Acadia furthers Epicor's commitment to helping businesses across the make, move, and sell industries move beyond simply telling workers what to do, but showing them how to do it effectively to drive stronger productivity and efficiency."
Founded in 1978, CD&R invests in businesses that span a broad range of industries, including industrial, healthcare, consumer, technology and financial services end markets.
