HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Houston Police Department Captain Daryn Blake Edwards has been arrested in Galveston County, charged with possession of child pornography.
Edwards, 59, joined HPD as a police officer in April 1992. He is currently captain of the Auto Theft Division.
He was among several other officers who were demoted for the Astroworld tragedy in 2021.
Authorities have not released any further information on Edwards'scharges.
