National First Responders Day: Hall Ambulance's dispatching excellence
recognized with ACE reaccreditation

They are among Kern County's first responders, rarely seen but always heard and appreciated. The calm voice transmitting over radio airwaves are the heroes behind the scenes who ensure an ambulance responds to every 9-1-1 request for medical aid throughout Kern County. They are Hall Ambulance's emergency medical dispatchers!

Their commitment to excellence has resulted in Hall Ambulance's Communications Center, known as the Operations Control Division, recently completing its fifth reaccreditation as an ACE Center of Excellence by the International Academies of Emergency Dispatch. In 2011, Hall Ambulance became the 154th dispatch center in the world to achieve ACE accreditation status and is one of just 14 Medical ACE agencies in California. IAED is the standard-setting organization for emergency services worldwide. Accreditation (and subsequent reaccreditation) certifies that the dispatch center is performing at or above the industry's established standards.
