Her funeral will be conducted from the funeral home on Wednesday, October 30th at 10 a.m. Services will conclude with Gail being placed to rest at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
Gail Dorothy (Robinson) Mauch, born on July 5, 1956, passed away peacefully at home on October 20, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born and raised in Chelsea, she was a beloved daughter of the late Walter E., Jr. and Lucy M. (Lee) Robinson. She lived in Chelsea until 1973, when Gail and her family relocated to Everett following the great fire. She graduated from Malden High School and later graduated from Pine Manor College, laying the groundwork for a fulfilling career. Eventually, Gail found her way back to Chelsea as an adult and kept close ties here even after settling in Saugus some years ago.
Throughout her professional journey, Gail worked with dedication at the Everett Police Department, Pilgrim Parking, Thomas Strahan Paper and Chelsea Clock, where she cherished the opportunity to work alongside her beloved husband of 40 years, Bruce Mauch. Gail had a passion for helping others and an eye for fashion, which she expressed through her active involvement in her community. She took joy in supporting Chelsea Pop Warner Cheer and Phunk Phenomenon, leaving a positive impact on many.
An avid sports fan, Gail was always ready to cheer for Boston's teams, as well as her daughter Nickolette's and her nieces' and nephews' endeavors. She found happiness at the Chelsea Yacht Club, where she enjoyed relaxing with friends and family, and at the casino, where she loved pulling slots. Gail always looked forward to her cherished dinners with "The Divas" and the special gatherings with her first cousins, moments that brought her great joy and laughter.
In addition to her parents, Gail was preceded in death by her siblings, Walter E. Robinson, III, and Karen Nunally and nephews, Daniel Jr., and Jordan Robinson.
She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Bruce Mauch, her daughter, Nickolette Mauch, and her siblings: Ronald Robinson, Leo Robinson and his wife, Linda, Danny Robinson and his wife, Judy, Arlene Robinson and Jody Robinson. Gail's spirit lives on through her niece and Goddaughter, Lucia Robinson-Griggs, and her husband Michael, as well as her nephews: Justin Robinson, Adam Nunally, Keisha Robinson, Natasha Durst, and Vanessa Halfant, her dearest friend, Ellie Murphy and countless other nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, all of whom held a special place in her heart.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations honoring Gail's legacy of generosity and community spirit be made to the American Cancer Society or the Rotary Club of Chelsea Charitable Fund.
Gail will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her love and kindness will forever remain in our hearts.

At 68 years of age, John passed away on Tuesday, October 15th while at the Sunrise of Burlington Living Center following a recent cancer diagnosis.
The beloved husband of the late John Dumas, he was the devoted son of Valerie B. (Dalton) LaFauci and the late Albert J. John continued his education at Wentworth Institute in Boston and received his master's degree in computer sciences.
A former resident of Chelsea, he was residing in Arlington the past 30 years. He worked as a computer software engineer in the computer support and sciences field and retired several years ago.
Thirty years ago, John met the love of his life, John Dumas, and they enjoyed many happy years together before marrying in 2018 in Provincetown, one of their favorite vacation spots. So many good times were had doing the things they loved to do together: dining out, going to concerts, traveling to the cape, as well as to national parks in Arizona and California and Mediterranean cruises. John played the guitar and was a self-taught pianist.
He enjoyed playing classical piano music and he also enjoyed 70's rock music favoring Led Zepplin, attending many of their concerts.
Sadly, the next phase wasn't meant to be, but John lived every day to the fullest and had so many incredible experiences. His life was too short, but so well lived and he was so well loved. The world is not as bright without him in it and he will be missed incredibly by his mother, his brother and his sister, his nieces, nephews and many friends.
May he rest in sweet peace. Should friends desire, contributions in John's name may be made to the New England Home for the Deaf, 154 Water St., Danvers, MA 01923 To send expressions of sympathy, visit www.welshfh.com.
