Serie A side Fiorentina picked up a 3-1 win over Verona earlier today, climbing upto third in the table. But the win came as a result Moise Kean's sensational hattrick.
It was the Italian's first ever hat-trick in his entire professional career. As a result, Kean now has 8 goals in just 11 games for La Viola, where he is clearly enjoying himself under Raffaele Palladino.
The hattrick came after he had scored three times in his last two games in the Serie A and so far, he has picked up that tally from an Expected Goals tally of 8.45 (as per FotMob).
The Italian boss uses him as a receiver in the final third who constantly makes runs in behind and the players behind him are usually very quick to pick him out. This role is bringing the best out of Kean, who has been used in different roles at previous clubs.
But the preferred role is clearly working out, as the striker is on his way to picking up the best goalscoring tally in a single season of his career.
