Detroit, MI - October 16, 2024 -- The Catholic High School League (CHSL) is thrilled to announce the 52nd annual Prep Bowl on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at Ford Field in Detroit, featuring a day packed with youth and high school football, school spirit, and special recognitions.
This year's Prep Bowl, presented by The Knights of Columbus, promises an unforgettable day celebrating athletic excellence and community spirit.
The festivities kick off with the CYO Panorama, followed by two CYO Football Championship games, showcasing the best young talent from Catholic Youth Organizations across the region. The schedule also includes three CHSL football matchups and a variety of special presentations.
Teacher Recognition: Honoring the dedication and service of Catholic school educators.
Scholastic All-Catholic Teams: Celebrating student-athletes excelling both in the classroom and on the field.
Pom Pon Performances: Bringing spirit and energy to the field.
1:30 PM: CHSL football game featuring Lumen Christi vs. Kalamazoo Hackett, two powerhouse teams set to battle in a highly anticipated matchup.
4:30 PM: The Prep Bowl Championship Game, a thrilling rematch between Lutheran North and Everest Collegiate. Last year, Everest Collegiate emerged victorious with a 35-28 win. Lutheran North will be looking to even the score in this year's championship.
7:30 PM: The final game of the day showcases a marquee matchup between Detroit Martin Luther King
and Detroit Catholic Central, two of the region's most storied programs, capping off a day full of exciting football action.
Prep Bowl LII is a celebration of faith, community, and the achievements of student-athletes. Families, friends, and fans are invited to join us for this incredible day of football and festivities at Ford Field.
