New Broadcom products, like VeloRAIN, enhance AI workload support; the Titan Program aims to aid enterprise AI growth.
Broadcom Inc. AVGO expanded its multi-year partnership with Telia Company to advance Telia's modernization and transformation of telecom and cloud infrastructure using VMware's product portfolio.
The expanded use of VMware's cloud-native architecture will advance Telia's automation efforts across network workloads and extend its cloud-native capabilities for key assets.
Krish Prasad, SVP and general manager, VMware Cloud Foundation Division, Broadcom, said, "We are delighted to enable Telia to continue serving its customers with this VMware software-based platform that includes the needed network and infrastructure orchestration, automation and scale."
In addition, Broadcom disclosed significant enhancements to its VeloCloud product line and introduced a new partner program aimed at helping enterprises better support AI and non-AI workloads and enhance connectivity.
Broadcom's latest advancements include the launch of VeloRAIN, an AI/ML-powered architecture designed to boost the performance and security of distributed AI workloads.
It also introduced the high-capacity VeloCloud Edge 4100 and 5100 appliances, which support up to 100Gbps for large enterprises. Additionally, the new Titan Partner Program will help VeloCloud Managed Service Providers grow as enterprise AI adoption accelerates.
Sanjay Uppal, vice president and general manager, VeloCloud Division, Broadcom, stated, "By harnessing the advanced capabilities of VeloRAIN, AI workloads from distributed inferencing and agentic peer-to-peer applications to upstream heavy RAG transactions will see improved application-based QoE and security across all endpoints of the enterprise."
Apart from this, at VMware Explore 2024 in Barcelona, the company disclosed expanded VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) Advanced Services, new ecosystem partnerships, and modernization programs.
These initiatives aim to accelerate generative AI application development, enhance cybersecurity, and support sovereign cloud adoption.
