What a great day yesterday! Not often that I have productive meetings on Mondays but yesterday was the exception and this will be exciting for music lovers! Also, what did you think about the AI deep dive yesterday? Anyhow, and we have some news, so shall we?

A rideshare dispute in Severn escalated into gunfire at 3am on Saturday morning. The Anne Arundel County Police reported that a disagreement between a driver and two passengers led to the passenger drawing a firearm and threatening to shoot the driver. The driver drove away abd the suspect ended up firing several shots at the fleeing car. Police were able to identify the suspect and arrested him without incident.

Two separate knife assaults occurred in Annapolis over the weekend. In the first incident, a man was attacked at knifepoint on Friday night while walking near the Eastport Bridge. He was treated for injuries after the suspect fled with his phone and cash. The second assault happened Saturday night when another man approached on Main Street and threatened with a knife. A struggle ensured and the suspect fled the area. .In both cases, the suspect was described as a white male; however the Annapolis Police have not yet confirmed if the two are related.

Bad news for Annapolis and good news for Baltimore. The Baltimore Sun is reporting that Pusser's has found a new home. Pusser's Caribbean Grille is moving from Annapolis to Baltimore. The restaurant will relocate to the Lighthouse Point Marina in Canton next year, taking over the Drift Bar's space and offering year-round waterfront dining. After three decades in Annapolis, Pusser's is moving due to changes at the Annapolis Waterfront Hotel, which is now being converted into two dining venues by Atlas Restaurant Group.

The Hospice of the Chesapeake's annual golf tournament raised nearly $225,000 this year, with over 250 golfers and numerous sponsors participating. The event, held at Queenstown Harbor Golf Course, featured a full day of activities, including an omelet bar, seafood stations, and a gourmet awards banquet. Proceeds will support the non-profit's services for patients with advanced illnesses in Anne Arundel, Calvert, Charles, and Prince George's counties.
