The Okeechobee County Sheriff's Office is investigating a double shooting that happened early this morning in the Douglas Brown Park area off of NE 13th Avenue.Two individuals were reported shot after an argument that turned violent. Both people were transported to Lawnwood Hospital in Fort Pierce. They are in stable condition.Officers say this is an active investigation, and updates will be released as they develop.They are confident that there is no threat to the public and that this was an isolated incident.
