The Kansas City Chiefs will play the Las Vegas Raiders at 3:25 p.m. (Arrowhead Time) on Sunday.
But Week 8 of the NFL season kicks off with the (5-1) Minnesota Vikings on the road against the (2-4) Los Angeles Rams on "Thursday Night Football." Kickoff is set for 7:15 p.m. Arrowhead Time on Amazon Prime, KMSP (FOX/9-Minneapolis) and KTTV (FOX/11-Los Angeles).
According to FanDuel Sportsbook, the Vikings are favored by 2.5 points.
In Week 5, the Vikings recorded a 23-17 victory over the New York Jets in London. But after taking a bye in Week 6, they collected their first loss of the season when the Detroit Lions kicked a field goal with 15 seconds left to leave Minneapolis with a 31-29 victory. Before their Week 6 bye, the Rams dropped a 24-19 loss to the Green Bay Packers -- and then came back in Week 7 to get a 20-15 victory over the Raiders.
I don't think the Vikings will have much trouble covering the spread in this matchup. I see Minnesota bringing a 31-10 victory back to the Twin Cities.
