LANCASTER, S.C. (WBTV) - Biscuitville celebrated the grand opening of its Lancaster restaurant on Tuesday, Oct. 22.
The popular chain is known for its classic Southern breakfast, but mostly scratch-made biscuits ... hence the name!
Biscuitville held a ribbon cutting with employees and community leaders to celebrate the grand opening. By the end of Tuesday, the team said they served 1,205 biscuits to guests.
According to Biscuitville's website, since 1996, its breakfast is made with ingredients sourced from local farms and family-owned partners.
"For over a half-century, we've proudly made biscuits from scratch right in front of our guests, rolling out a fresh batch every fifteen minutes," the site reads. "We've also held true to our original family recipe that calls for only locally milled flour, buttermilk and shortening. Try one, and we think you'll see why."
