Months after launching the Gemini AI app for Android, Google has rolled out the app for iPhones. Google CEO Sundar Pichai made the announcement on X, formerly known as Twitter. He wrote, "The Gemini app is now on iPhone, including Gemini Live in 13 languages (more to come). It's available in the App Store starting today."

Gemini App For iPhones: What it Offers
The Gemini app for iOS features just a chat window and a history of your previous conversations. You can interact with the AI using text, voice, or even your camera, and it will provide responses. It's essentially the same as the Gemini section in the Google app or what you'd experience by visiting the Gemini website.
The app introduces a relatively new feature: Gemini Live, a more interactive and conversational chat mode similar to ChatGPT's voice mode. While Gemini Live has been available on Android for a few weeks, this is the first time iPhone users can access it.
Users can also access Imagen 3, Google's image generation model, which quickly converts text descriptions into AI-generated images. According to Google, Gemini is designed to make learning more accessible for students. They can ask questions on any subject and receive personalized study plans. In the blog post, Google explained, "Gemini can offer custom, step-by-step guidance tailored to your learning style, and you can even test your knowledge with quizzes."
Additionally, Gemini also integrates with most of Google's apps and services. "Through Extensions, Gemini can pull and display relevant information from the Google apps you use daily, such as YouTube, Google Maps, Gmail, Calendar, and more -- all within a single conversation," Google added.
