Stockton University distance runner Erik Ackerman made an all-New Jersey Athletic Conference cross country team for the third time in his career.
The senior made the NJAC First Team for the second straight year based on his performance at the conference championship meet. In Saturday's 8K race, he finished second among 89 runners in 25 minutes, 18.8 seconds.
It was the second year in a row he made the conference first team. He made the second team in 2022.
Ackerman, from Long Valley, Morris County, helped Stockton finished third overall for the third consecutive year.
