Louisiana-Monroe's offensive line coach Cameron Blankenship went a little too overboard with his "tough coaching" on the sidelines -- furiously shoving offensive lineman Drew Hutchinson with both hands after yanking his headset off.
Blankenship's rage didn't help ULM much as they ultimately lost 28-23 at Marshall in Week 10, but the clip of him going berserk on the sidelines, consumed with anger, is making rounds on the internet.
Barstool's Brandon Walker labeled Blankenship's actions as "embarrassing" in his tweet.
"I'm all for tough coaching but this is embarrassing. Look how the other players react to this clown," Walker wrote. OL Hutchinson mistakenly subbing into the game appeared to be the reason behind Blankenship's uncontrollable anger.
With the animated clip going viral, the University of Louisiana-Monroe released a statement stating the 'disciplinary actions' that would follow the incident, per CBS Sports.
"In Saturday's game at Marshall, assistant coach Cameron Blankenship made physical contact with a ULM student-athlete on the sideline," ULM said in a statement.
"This behavior is unacceptable and not how ULM football conducts business. There will be disciplinary action taken against the assistant coach. Because this is a personnel matter, the discipline will be handled internally."
"Tough coaching" or not, things are not looking too good for ULM. Their 28-23 loss against Marshall was their second consecutive loss this season.
The Warhawks started their season with a solid 5-1 record, their first in program history, but two losses followed their kickstart, dropping their record to 5-3.
ULM faces Texas State next week with bowl eligibility on the line once again.
