What a day to be a Hancock Hawk! Hancock High School hosted a signing day for twelve of their graduating seniors. The red and blue will be well represented at the next level, students furthering their careers in golf, volleyball, softball, baseball and bands, so let's take time to recognize them now!
Starting out with athletics, volleyball's Lila Turner will be joining the courts of Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. Golf State Champions Kenley Archer and Logan Jensen will keep on dominating on the links, Archer signing to William Carey University and Jensen to MGCCC. Two major pieces of the Hawk softball team will continue their careers on the diamond with Aubre Martin attending Southwest Community College and ace Teegan Dewitt to Pearl River Community College. Finally, Ayden Howard will continue his baseball career and Copiah Lincoln Community College.
Now for the outstanding members of the Hancock marching band! Christina Boyte will be attending William Carey University, Christopher Montecino and Rachel Ricks will be joining the spirit of the river. Makayla Destarkey and Sara Carver will attend the University of South Alabama, and Brody Hilliard will remain on the coast at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community college.
