Teammates displayed the jersey of QB Tim Clifford, who died earlier this week. Clifford, the 1979 Big Ten Most Valuable Player, guided to the Hoosiers to a 38-37 victory over previously undefeated BYU in the Holiday Bowl, passing for 171 yards and a touchdown.

Corso coached at IU from 1973-82, compiling a 41-68-2 record with the Hoosiers. He's been a key part of ESPN's flagship pregame show since its inception in 1987.
